Perhaps it is a little odd that I have visited all the toy stores in Boston, but when you take care of a three year old all the time, it is hopefully understandable. My cousin absolutely loves this toy store, of course he is 3 so I do not know how much weight that carries. He is the biggest fan of legos I have ever seen, so when we go here he plays with them for a couple of hours. I think they have an excellent selection of kids stuff and the people here seem to really enjoy the tikes.

I only like this place when they give out free drinks or if I am in the mood to cut a rug (which is not very often). THis place is typically way to crowded and offers moderate to poor service, unless you are a male. They really only have women in slimpy outfits working here, which would be fine if they paid any attention to female patrons. The have a bar in the back but it will take you a half an hour to wait in line an order your 8 ounce beer. I only like this place when I am too drunk to know better.

This is definitely a woman's store though the name is non-gender specific. They have mainly accesories like belts and bracelets and such. That is really the bulk of their product, but the stuff they have is fun and unique and decently made. By unique I mean they don't sell designers. I enjoy shopping in this area mainly because it is gorgeous, so if I am ever in the neighborhood I stop in.

I always take my car here to get my oil change and it has always cost me $9.99. They say it is a one time rate once you get the firestone card, but every time I ask for the discount, they give it to me. I have had my car serviced here multiple times. I feel that they are always honest with me and they cut me a break on a lot of repairs, probably because my car is a piece. But, anyway, the people are friendly and honest and do good work.

This place is by far my favorite place for hitting the books. I love the ambiance and the atmosphere, they also have some of the best coffee flavors in town. The people that work here are wicked chill and fun to talk to. The pastries are also one of my favorite guilty pleasure. This is also a good place to hang out and catch up with friends. Top notch as a cafe.

If you are like me and your job takes up a very lot of your time and are way too busy to spend an hour at eye doctors office this is definitely the place for you. I was in and out of this place in twenty minutes, percription in hand. I would not recommened getting glasses here, though (the lenscrafters is separate). They take to long and are way to expensive, but the eye exam is quick and only 65 bucks.

I am in my twenties, but I still love curious George, I do not know if any one else can empathize with that, but if you can this is the place for you. This place is great for kids and adults alike. I take my three year old cousin here a lot, but it is really just a ploy so I do not feel like a loser whose alone in a toy store. They have things beside curious George memorabilia, but if you are ever in the area, I suggest you check it out.

This place is about average. I enjoy Irish hangouts a lot and I enjoy talking to the owner as his accent amuses me, but I am not the biggest fane of this bar. It costs 4 dollars for something equivalent to Pabst Blue Ribbon, and the food is expensive. Also, there is hardly anybody here when I go. I suppose it gets filled up when the college kids return, but its more of a chill out and relax type of place than a bar. I know a few waitresses here and they say they never get that many tips cause it's never that busy.

The Coolidge Corner Theater is awesome because they play independent films and they have a fun crew working there. I recently saw March of the Penguins there and had a really fun experience. The movie theaters are small but they are very artistics and it is always easy to see the screen. They also have wild events here, I would check the website to see what's going on this month.

This place is (or was) my favorite bookstore in Boston. They were located in a quaint little area on Newbury Street, but the rent sky rocketed and they could no longer afford to stay in the building. They have, however, decided to move locations and open up very soon. While us book lovers wait in anticipation they do provide updates of their status on the website, which I highly recommend everyone checks out. I usually go on and harass them about opening shop sooner, is suggest everyone does the same.
