Puzzle Zoo on 3rd St. Promenade is a great little toy shop that has all kinds of different toys and hobbies to choose from. It can be a fun place with a couple friends to look at all of the toys and mess around with stuffed animals (the fake hamburger is pretty funny).
Prices can be kind of pricey, but well, it is Santa Monica.
