This place had pretty good food and beer, and the prices were pretty standard for bar food. They have a lot of seating and booths which are in good condition, comfortable but not fancy, and they sell a lot of pull tabs behind the bar. There are a lot of TVs for sporting events.
It is definitely a smoking establishment. The smell of smoke on everything might be the only thing keeping me away in the future, but if you like smoking, you should go here.

Ivar's has really good, really cheap fish and chips which you can purchase at a stand and eat by the waterfront. There is one downside to doing this: the seagulls all come and beg, and a lot of people toss fries at them, which can get really annoying as the fries (and gulls) come closer and closer to where you are sitting.

Everything I have had there has been good, including the Forest Mushroom pasta and the macaroons. The macaroons are the one thing that are really expensive there, but they are rich enough to split with a few people.

One other benefit may be that even though they are separate businesses, she shares space with a tanning center, so if you need to be tanned and hairless, you can do both in one place!
