This is a great place to go in the cutest section of Poulsbo. My mom took me here for my birthday one year and we enjoyed picking out the style of ceramic dishes we wanted and then painting away. We picked up our fired dishes a few days later. Mine did not turn out well, but that had to do with my painting. I also picked up a big platter and several paints and had people at my wedding sign it.

The car wash is obviously easy to locate with the giant pink elephant rising above the roadway. The convenience of this car wash is amazing - you can't beat a car wash downtown! It is so easy to pop in after work. If it's crowded looking, which it often is on a sunny day at 5pm, I just keep on driving and try again another day. My only complaint is that back bumper of my car never seems to come out clean.

I love coming to Capers in West Seattle for a great selection of unique items, from home furnishings, stationary, place mats and napkins, pottery, Zutano baby clothes and more. The little café is a bonus, serving coffee and sandwiches. This store is huge and I can always find a gift for someone here. I would give it five stars, except the last time I was in it looked like the supply of baby items was dwindling.

Great food at this casual Greenwood Mexican restaurant. People line up literally out the door to order up huge burittos and other wonderful dishes at incredible prices. Luckily, the line goes fast and they really get the orders taken quickly. While waiting in line, you can observe the open kitchen. You have to find your own place to sit and hope it's a good table. Amid all the crowds and confusion, this is a fun place to go with great food.

I brought my year old cat here for a check-up, assuming everything would be just fine. I was sad to learn that he had a heart murmer. However, I was pleased with the expertise of the staff in not only identifying it, but determining what level it was and recommending a cardiac specialist for him to see. The only reason we have not returned to this clinic is because we moved out of Greenwood.

I asked my regular Dr. what the best hospital in Seattle is for delivering babies and she said "go to Swedish". The hospital is considered very forward thinking in this area. For the most part I was happy with the experience. I had complete confidence in the Doctor's, the facilities and the care. I had also heard from other sources how great the nurses were. My only complaint is that after spending a few days in the hospital following a c-section, a couple of the nurses were not so great. Two in particular were very tough, impatient and old-school. It got quite frustrating having different nurses every day and every night. Some were really great, some not so great.

I have not found a more enjoyable bookstore. I recommend visiting this store many many times. A real Northwest treasure. Even if you never pick up a book, which will be hard to do, it is just fun to walk around. Bring your out of town guests here. You can also grab a lunch in the cafe downstairs.

I thoroughly enjoy shopping for cards here. For such a small shop, they have a great selection. They carry many handmade cards too. I pop in here whenever I need a card at the last minute. They have great tissue paper, stationary, baby gifts and seasonal gifts as well (Halloween, easter, holiday). I highly recommend it.

It is a bit expensive, but so is every salon in the City. From visit to visit, he will not only remember your hair, but he will remember what is going on in your life. This is a good place to grab a good and quick latte' in the morning. They have always been the fastest barista's in the city. It is also a nice relaxing place to have a meeting with a couple of people. They have plenty of tables and the windows open onto the sidewalk on nice days. However, the coffee is a little bitter for my taste (just a personal preference). They also have great banana and pumpkin bread, which they slice thickly.
