It's not the best Thai restaurant in the City, but it's pretty good. This is a great location in the heart of Greenwood. It's an unassuming restaurant and an easy place to go on the spur of the moment. There is parking in back and lots of shops right around it to explore before or after dinner. This dishes taste great and they have Thai beer.

If you are looking for a great burger and a fun place to hang out, go to Red Mill Burgers on Phinney Ridge. It is small and it is hard to get a table, but it's worth it. The chicken burger is big and messy, but good. This is a great location - if you live in the neigbhorhood you don't have to worry about trying to park in the small lot that is shared with Starbucks.

With new technology offered by this clinic, you can now get an ultrasound, when combined with a blood test, will tell you more specifically what your odds are. For example, if according to your maternal age you have a 1 in 200 chance of having a baby with down syndrome, this test will narrow down your odds to determine whether or not you need further testing, such as an amniocentesis. It might tell you that your odds are now 1 in 20,000 or it might tell you that your odds are 1 in 75. I highly recommend visiting this clinic.

Casa Blanca coffee is located on a street in West Seattle that is otherwise boring and lacking coffee shops. It is a nice to have such a place in this neighborhood. I know of several people who stop here on their way to work and have recommended it to me. I like visiting it on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Driving down 35th and coming upon this cute place is a pleasant surprise.

I have seen several concerts at the Paramount Theatre, and I feel it is one of the best places to see a concert in Seattle. The sound is outstanding, the feel is intimate and the theater is beautiful. A couple of the acts I have seen elsewhere as well and preferred this venue. Many acts should consider performing here instead of at Key Arena. Coming to this theater is a memorable experience.

Recently, this salon went from using Aveda products to another brand. I was a little disappointed since I have been pleased with the Aveda waxes in the past and the products I would purchase here. Fortunately, the waxes still seem good. I have had three haircuts at this salon by three different people and have felt the results were okay, but not outstanding for the $40 - $50 price. I believe I will go elsewhere next time.

We moved into a rental house which suddenly became infested with fleas after a hot day. After trying our own methods unsuccessfully, I called many exterminators to find out what would be best for our situation (baby in house). Until I called Fleabusters, the longest guarantee I was given was no fleas for three months. None of these places said they could kill the eggs. Fleabusters guarantees in writing that there will be no fleas for one year after an initial two - five week time period and they kill the eggs. It took about four weeks, and they appear to be completely gone.

Archie McPhees is a one-of-a-kind store and we have had so much fun visiting it. We usually visit just before the holidays to find some unique and funny stocking gifts. I can't even begin to list everything they have but some highlights are: JP Patches bobble heads, lunch boxes, tiki mugs, postcards, devil ducks, and on and on. You will not be disappointed in this experience.

Not only can you find anything you need in this downtown kitchen store, it is simply fun to browse. You will no doubt pick up a package of cocktail napkins or a cookie cutter before leaving. When I needed a frother, I didn't just find one, I found several to choose from. I had difficulty finding another location in Seattle that carried even one. The dishes here are beautiful and the pans plentiful. I recommend stopping in.

This is a fun place to go in downtown Seattle. I usually save my visits to coincide with a special exhibit, such as the recent Van Gogh. These special exhibits are a little crowded but the only chance to see such great works in Seattle. They have a free Thursday every month, but the line is especially long on these days. I do prefer the bigger museums in Chicago and New York, but always enjoy going here.
