Dr Mayhew has been my PCP for about 3 years now and I have never been happier with a Dr. She is very open to alternative medicine, (chiropractic, massage, PT, naturopathic) if that is the route you wish to take. If you'd rather have a medication to take she'll go that route (if it's appropriate) or refer you out to a specialist if she's in over her level of expertise. She recognizes that we generally know our body the best and I've never been referred to a Dr's office that I didn't love. I would (and have) recommended her to many friends and family.

I have very severe allergies and asthma and started seeing Dr K (as she's called in the office) about 4 months ago and we have been able to get both my allergies and asthma under control so they aren't a daily concern to me. Her office offers allergy shots to help lessen the severity of your allergies depending on the allergens. She was very willing to provide me with samples of all the medications before I had to pay for prescriptions to reduce my costs which I really appreciated.

On the down side, with some of their items, if they run out they don't make more (like their caramel rolls) They carry muffins and cookies and donuts and rolls and all sorts of things that taste amazing and make you fat if you eat too many. :)

Amy's Attic is a great little shop that sells everything you might ever need for scrapbooking. They don't have a studio you can use but they carry lots of stuff! Besides your standard scrapbooking supplies, they carry a lot of stamps and things for embossing. Most of their prices are about average but sometimes they run a little high.

If you live within a 1 hour drive of Stewart's Meat, it is worth it! Make the drive and pick up some jerky and some steak or chicken or whatever you like. From what I've heard they raise all their own cattle and chicken and everything they sell. So the cuts are always fresh and it cooks up amazingly! Their prices are fair and although there is often a huge line in there, head up front and grab a number cuz the line moves quick.

Mr Doug's has some of the best food I've had and it's all very inexpensive compared to so many other restaurants. They have a full breakfast menu that they serve all day long. They have amazing omelets and awesome pancakes. They also make great sandwiches and salads. They have a great cod dinner and lots of other things too. My service has always been wonderful and I very rarely have to wait to be seated (maybe on a Sunday morning about 11 or 12). The staff is awesome, the food is wonderful.

I think one of my favorite things about the Squeaky Page is that I can bring the pages I'm working on to their shop and can do my scrapbooking there and buy any thing that I don't have with me! They run GREAT sales (get on their e-mail newsletter) and they ALWAYS have new product coming in. All of the employees are wonderful and helpful and they do dinner crops on Friday nights where dinner is provided and you come and scrapbook and have a lot of fun with friends. They also do lots of workshops and how-tos. If you're not sure how to do something, they're always willing to help you out. They're my favorite!

I went to Yelm Nails n Spa a few months ago to get acrylic nails put on and they were very friendly and efficient. Their prices were average for acrylic nails. A very nice facility, they offered airbrushing to me but weren't pushy about it. They also offered an eyebrow wax but still weren't persistent. After I told them no thank you, they left it at that. All around great service. Would recommend them to friends and family or anyone in the Yelm area..

I haven't personally worked with Dream Time Signs but I know a few people who have and I've seen their work and it's amazing. The sign out in front of the "Blue Bottle" in Yelm, was done by Dream Time. I hear that their pricing is pretty average for design and production of signs.
