The Melrose Grill serves up very high quality steaks at a reasonable price. I would say that their steaks are on par with Jax's, and the Metropolitan Grill. The restaurant is located in an old saloon that was built some 100 years ago. Service is always excellent, and food consistently well done.

If you are looking for a great dentist, Dr. Fisher is a very caring, gentle dentist. One of the best that I have ever been to. Even if I didn't live near Renton, I'd still commute an hour to see her. Her office is located kitty corner from the Spirit of Washington Dinner train station, in a green house that has been nicely renovated into her office.

This salon has been giving great cuts in downtown Seattle for 15 years, in a fun, unpretentious atmosphere. Their stylist have cut some famous Mariner players. If you are Asian, they also have a lot of experience cutting Asian hair. The only real drawback is that parking is tough - however it's great if you live, work or shop downtown.
