The food and atmosphere at Desert Fire are very uninspiring. I had tamales that were so dry they were basically inedible. Desert Fire is pricey and I expect a lot more for my money. The wait staff usually too busy gossiping to notice our empty drinks. I believe this restaurant is owed by Azteca. And your regular neighborhood Azteca would be a better choice for a night out.

It's location across the street from Ballard High School probably makes Zesto's a favorite of the teen crowd. This restaurant is fine for that. But don't go here if you are looking for quality food or a good environment. The vinyl seats are ripped and the floor was dirty. The food was bland and boring. The type of food I'm sure tastes good when you are 16, but not once you have grown up a bit.

I agree with the other reviewer of this restaurant, do not let the strip mall location deter you from eating at Las Brisas. The food is great. I had seafood enchiladas (which I order a lot of places) that were fresh and melted in my mouth. I love Mexican food and this is definitely a place I would go back to.

Frida's is set up so that each table feels very private. The wait staff are wonderful and the atmosphere is very romantic. The night we were there, a couple of young harp students provided live music. The food is unique and beautifully presented. My fish tasted like it was previously frozen, which is probably was. Overall, a unique place to take a date.

My boyfriend and I walked into 6/7 very undressed, without a reservation, and wanting to use our Entertainment coupon card. Despite all of this, we were treated wonderfully. We got a table next to a window with a beautiful view. The wait staff was kind and helpful. And the food was top notch. Great place for a special night out.

My boyfriend and I checked out this restaurant on a warm Sunday night. The crowd seemed like mostly local Belltowners just out for a relaxed dinner. The vibe was very low-key and relaxed. The food is delicious. My boyfriend and I shared a pizza and next time I'll get my own (it's that good). The prices are a bit more than you may expect but the food is top quaility. Our waiter seemed distracted, but it was a refreshing change from waitstaff who are on top of you during the entire meal.

I had heard that everything that you get at Mama's Mexican Kitchen comes smoothered in cheese. Those reviews are correct. The food was good and there was lots of it, but it was nothing more than your regular Mexican meal. The decor is funky, bordering on cluttered and dirty. The staff is very friendly though.

When I was a kid, the biggest treat we had was a Saturday afternoon outing to Spuds with my dad. Very little has changed about Spuds over the years. And that is why it is so great. The fish always tastes great (especially with the garlic vinegar). I love that they don't salt the fries, just fresh cut potatoes. People always say that the Greenlake location is the best, but for the scenery I prefer Alki.

I work in Everett and Pave is one of my favorite places to sneak off to for lunch. Everything here is great. They make wonderful and unique soups. I really like the Warm Goat Cheese Salad. And the pastries and cookies are to die for. I highly recommend the Lemon-Ginger Scone. Delightful!

The only problem with scrapbooking supplies is that they are all so cute that the price becomes irrelevant. I find the products at Scrapbook Nook pricey, but no more so than other stores. And it has never stopped me from buying the perfect sticker or piece of paper. They offer great classes and a lovely "caged" area for kids so you can shop with both hands free.
