Ramblin Jacks is my favorite restaurant in downtown Oly. The food leans towards southern-style fare, but other menu items offer some exotic variety for those who want something like Thai pizza. The cheese grits are to die for, as is their roaasted ravioli and italian chop salad. All the bbq is great as well. The ambiance is nice, especially in the bar.

Pints and Quarts is the best new bar in town. It's small and cozy, and the decor makes you feel like you're in someone's home...leather sofas add to the feeling. This bar is non-smoking, so if you don't smoke and don't like smelling like cigarettes after a night at the bar, P&Q is the place for you. The drinks are generous and the food is delicious...kind of gourmet bar food. It's worth the trip just to eat a good meal.

Want you grass to look like a putting green? Deschutes Landscaping is the way to go. They don't do big install projects...they are strictly maintenance and clean-up. My yard was horrible...the grass was dead and the weeds were as tall as me. And they have the best prices in town. In a matter of months Deschutes gave me the best lawn in the neighborhood. Sign up for the year round contract and you'll get a price break, plus in the cold months when there is no landscape work to be done they'll still show up every week and do things like clean your gutters and get the moss off your roof. They are great!

These guys did a great job landscaping my yard. The work was great and the price was fair. My back yard went from a jungle to a beautifully landscaped area in just a matter of days! The workers are nice and courteous to boot. They don't do maintenance work, just installation type of stuff--retaining walls, water features, patio pavers, irrigation systems, plant install, etc. Johnson Brothers is great!

Trinacria is a hole in the wall place with a crazy ambiance. The owner and cook, Eugenio, is sort of like the Senifeld Soup Nazi. Make him mad or offend him and he'll refuse to serve you--problem is you can never predict what will set Eugenio off. But his crazy antics make the dining experience all the more fun. And the food is unparalleled. I won't even eat at an Olive Garden anymore. This is authentic Italian/Sicilian cooking.
