If you dig the Indian and Thai food, you should treat yourself to a Moroccan dining experience. The foods are extremely tasty and at Marrakesh, you eat in what looks like a tent (from the inside anyway) on traditional furniture and ornately inlaid tables. You eat the foods with your hands, and after you're all sloppy and full, your host comes around to wash your hands in rose-scented warm water. You won't leave hungry.

The restaurant was cold and crammed with really loud obnoxoius people (including the staff). There is no privacy and you have to yell to keep up a conversation. The decor inside is the worst of seaside kitcsch combined with the flair of 80's "style".
Our waitress was a burnt out and pissed off woman that looked like she could use a hair washing. She was chewing gum like a cow going at a wad of cud and was utterly impatient and rude with us. She couldn't answer simple questions about the food, didn't know anything about the wines. She looked and acted like she had just gotten off a double shift at BurgerKing. After almost an hour wait our food arrived cold, bland. I got a pile of the most flavorless congealed noodles I've ever been served. We picked at it and the other dishes for awhile and it was taken away 98% uneaten.
Overall, this place was about as exciting and tasty as visiting a Denny's in Everette...only at the prices of a 4 star restaurant and a lot less charm. I will never eat here again.

I took the Indian Cuisine class from Gabe. He is so lively, friendly and helpful in the kitchen. Under his guidance, everyone got to prepare a couple dishes. After finishing the group meal, we got to eat it with all our new friends.
We had an absolutely amazing time that evening and learned some great techniques. They also gave us a takeaway binder with lots of history about the cuisine, recipe cards for items we made, descriptions of the techniques and ingredients used. He filled us in on where to get good affordable ingredients also, and he had us taste and smell the spices before we started cooking. It was a great learning experience and a lot of fun. I hope I can find time to take more of their classes in the future.

I'm kind of freaked out by dentists, but after I had a tooth removed here I feel better about going in. Everyone in Dr. Farhat's office is very kind and well organized. They have a very smooth system of handling patients, where all of the details of your care and handling are taken into consideration.
Dr. Farhat is very good at letting you know what is going on while they are working on you and informing you about procedures. The work was done very gently, and my aftercare was all very thorough.
They also send appointment reminders via email which makes it easy to keep track of. They validate parking and are really convenient to get to if you work downtown.
I highly recommend Dr. Farhat, he is a great doctor.

I love Café Darclée. They have a new tasty soup everyday made with good ingredients, served with a panini toast on the side. Their salads and crepes also make awesome lunches. The greek salad is a tasty mix of feta, tomatoes, olives and onions - which is a great compliment to a bowl of soup. Their house salad is also really tasty - it's a unique mix of greens, thinly sliced almonds and a tasty balsamic vinegar.
They have several specialy crepes including dessert versions. You can also pick individual ingredients for your crepe. I love the fresh mozzarella and tomato crepe, and the chicken and pickles one as well.
The baristas there are experienced and can make you a whole range of different drinks, including some special Lavazza dessert type coffees.
As if the food isn't enough of a temptation, the cafe has extremely charming and friendly owners and staff, free wi-fi connection, a neat interior and a great atmosphere for hanging out on your own or with friends. They also have a very nice selection of chocolates, mostly imported, for whenever you need a sweet fix. You have to check it out if you're in the Seattle Center area. It's right across the street from the Space Needle.

I've eaten here twice now for breakfast and left extremely satisfied on both occasions. The coffee and tea is very nice and of high quality. They have a great mix of traditional breakfast items and interesting stuff like cheese grits and black bean cakes with spicy collard greens. mmmmm. I'm quite addicted to the food here and the really friendly and upbeat atmosphere.
You should call ahead and get a reservation, because the wait can be quite long during the brunch hour on the weekend and there isn't much of a waiting area. You could jaunt up the block to the Essential Bread Co. for coffee while you wait for your table to come up.

When we bought our first house in Seattle, we used the first agent we found. She was incredibly inept, couldn't use a computer, showed us every property even if it obviously didn't fit our needs, had to fill out every form three times before getting it correct, and even had us sign all the way through the wrong papers at signing - so we had to do it twice! After this nightmare, we finally got a house, mostly due to our own effort and pains. We swore to never use a crappy agent again.
Four years later we are selling our house and moving to something a little bigger. Luckily Brent found us. We were immediately impressed by his organization and professionalism. His office had tons of information packets for us with all the things we needed to think about and process to sell our house and find a new one.
Brent's process took in lots of info from us and then he helped us scour the hundreds of listings for ones that would be just right for us. He was extremely helpful with gauging pricing and individual factors within each home. During the inspection, he helped the inspector check outlets and find features of the house to help speed the process, and scheduled a sewer video scoping to help us best evaluate the property.
Last week we found our dream house and this week our house goes on the market. It's amazing how pain-free and enlightening the process has been this time around with a good agent.
Choose your agent wisely, it'll be an extremely painful two months of your life if you don't use a good one. ;-)
