It's always fun to go to a live sporting event, so a Carolina Hurricanes game is definitely something to do in the Triangle. The drawbacks are that it is definitely not that fun to watch your team lose... and lose... and lose again. Okay, it is painful. The concessions are expensive, but there are a decent number of choices. Tickets are, again, expensive for the decent seats. Even the nosebleed seats aren't that cheap.
