The aquarium is definitely worth a visit. There is a lot of fun things to see, especially with children. The rates are a little high, but you can find coupons for it everywhere (we used Entertainment). There are supposed upgrades on tap for the facility, and it’s in need of some sprucing up, so I’ll be happy to revisit once this is finished. Try to do a day on the piers while you’re down there and see everything else too.

As most people agree, the cost of visiting this local landmark is far more than it is worth. The admission does not match what you are getting, and it should be left for the tourists to pay. If you really do want to get a great view of the city, head to the BOA tower. The space needle is neat to do once, but not worth a second trip.

Overall, not a bad place to catch a flick. The prices, like everywhere else, are too high, but not out of the ordinary. Look for street parking when possible for a late movie, then you don't have to pay for the lot.

I have worked at multiple gyms in Seattle, and I can honestly say that this is one of my favorites. It is laid back, relaxed, clean, quiet and most importantly convenient. Being able to walk from my house is great, and even if I need to drive, there is plenty of free parking. The staff is helpful and unintrusive. The rates are great and affordable. A must for anyone moving into Ballard looking for a good gym.

Wow, I was totally surprised last year when we visited the locks with the neighbor kids. I expected to see the fish ladders, which were awesome, but I was blown away by the surrounding park. There were beautifully landscaped gardens all around the locks and the walk there and back was great. The trip is better on a sunny day, but is fun no matter what. Take an afternoon there, just make sure the salmon are making their runs.

The King County Library System has made this a great choice by having it so close to the city, but still to have a great deal of parking available. I definitely recommend!!

Golden Gardens has been one of my favorite places in all of Seattle for a few years now. The park is a relaxing mix of sandy beach, large grass fields and beautiful views. It's a great place to grab a frisbee or baseball to play, or just to grab a book and lay in the sun. Weekend nights are especially fun... plenty of bonfires and people partying the night away.

Sunset bowl has been a good place to visit in Ballard for some time. With a group of friends it can be a great and memorable evening. On the flipside, the environment is incredibly smokey, the prices aren't cheap and the parking is ridiculous. Overall a good time and worth spending a few bucks. Word of advice, plan ahead. On Fri/Sat the wait can be quite extensive.

The idea is great, and the tour - historical session was interesting. I appreciate knowing a little more history about the city and its past. The price was a little spendy for what you get, and visually it wasn't nearly what I had expected. The tour guides are hit and miss, some are funny while others are boring. Overall, something worth doing, but not more than once. Out of towners are better off doing a street tour.

I regularly visit Bon Macy's to pick up work clothes. The prices are fairly high, but during sale periods they get very reasonable. The pants and shirts are great, and the selection is wide. Unfortunately, the suit experience I had there was horrible. The tailr made the pants too short, too tight and very uncomfortable. The jacket barely buttons, and the suit is now virtually unwearable. I was very specific on how to have it tailored and my wishes were ignored. Very Frustrating!
