Sherwood Hills is located in a great location in the middle of Sardine canyon between Logan and Brigham City. It is right at the base of the mountains and up in the crisp mountain air. The Logan River golf course is located right on your way out of town to the south. As you can tell by the name, it is near the Logan River and it has a lot of wetland type water hazards. This is not a good thing if you aren't that good of a golfer, like myself. However, it is a pretty course with great views of the valley. Even with the water, it is worth your time.

Birch Creek is an 18 hole golf course right in the middle of Smithfield. It has a recently rennovated clubhouse and a couple of practice greens too. Although I am not much of a golfer, I have always liked golfing at Birch Creek. There is not a lot of water hazards, which helps me. The greens fees are very reasonable.

Beaver Mountain is not one of the big time ski resports that are mentioned when you talk about skiing in Utah, but it is the only local resort. It has a few lifts and a few good runs. For those of you who don't ski, they also have a tubing hill with a rope lift that can be quite fun. The bonus of being one of the lesser known resorts is that the lift tickets are not as expensive.

Although Jonathan is relatively young, he does a great job and he has received top notch training. His "bed side" or chair side manner is excellent, and he doesn't try to carry on a conversation while you have suction in your mouth. His work is top quality, and he gave me the best shot that I have ever had. I hardly even felt it. I recommend Jonathan without any reservations.

When you are looking for something that is old, out of print, or otherwise hard to find, Books of Yesterday is the place to go. They have a huge selection of old books. The great thing about used/old books is that they are so cheap compared with new books. Plus you have a chance to find that obscure book from 1972 that you dad loved so much. Located in downtown Logan, Books of Yesterday is a must stop if you are trying to find an old book.

They also have dress shoes, dress shirts, slacks, and of course, ties. The shoe department is actually quite large and you should be able to find what you are looking for. They also have a huge selection of clothing, including a lot of clothes that you can wear anytime. They have a good little bike shop and carry some afforable yet good brands of bikes. They also have a full service ski and snowboard shop which is great. Highly recommended.

Whether you are looking for a new bike or need to get yours tuned up, Sunrise is a great place to go. I bought my last bike there and they have been great. They gave me a lot of helpful advice about what I may and may not need. They also helped me out by installing some after market accessories to my bike that were necessary for it to fit me right. They have a pretty decent selection of accessories given the small shop, but it is a great place for bikes.
