The Salem Herbfarm in Salem, Connecticut, is owned and operated by a local family. It's on land that was once a dairy farm. It's such a lovely place just to walk around, and their plants are high quality and pesticide-free. There's a garden you can walk through, plus a greenhouse and a gift shop in an old barn. You might also like to say hello to the chickens and other barnyard "critters" while you're there.
