Play-by-Play is a great service that offers bargain basement prices on tickets to mostly off-broadway productions (some on broadway). For a $99 membership fee, you can get tickets for $3/each. Great deal -- and it allows you to experiment with the NY theater scene. note: you must watch the website regularly and keep refreshing it to catch the items as they go up so as not to miss anything -- when a broadway production goes up -- it sells out quickly.
