Cellophane Square has a good inventory of new and used CDs, and because the used discs are filed with the new discs it is easy to browse and see what is available. The pop/rock genre is best represented, but I have often found hidden gems in the blues, folk, and world music sections upstairs. They also have a great selection of boxed sets and special items that I have not seen in other used CD shops.

My first experience with Everyday Music was at their gigantic Sandy Boulevard store in Portland. This store in Seattle is not quite as big (although they recently almost doubled their floor space) but the selection seems just as good. If you still like to actually own physical CDs then this is a great place to shop. They group new and used discs together, so it is easy to see what is available from your favorite artists, and the list of artists in the catalog is deep. This is my favorite place in Seattle to buy music.

Enchanted Village has been given a jolt by the addition in the last few years of some badly needed new rides. The star attraction among these is the Timberhawk, a fantastic wooden coaster that opened in 2003. In my opinion, nothing beats the ride on a good, fast wooden coaster, and the Timberhawk doesn't disappoint.
Although Enchanted Village now carries the "Six Flags" brand, don't get too excited—this is no Six Flags. All the usual amusement park rides are represented here, and kids will have no trouble making a full day out of a visit. If you are a coaster enthusiast, then don't miss the Timberhawk. Otherwise, there are other Seattle area attractions that are more deserving of your time.

I'm still a bit nostalgic for Wild Ginger's old space, but once the food arrives at the table that feeling fades fast. The delicate flavors and aromas are as fantastic as ever. I challenge you to find anything on the menu that isn't palate pleasing, but I strongly recommend the Seven Flavor Beef. I love this dish! The service is lightning fast, which is remarkable considering the size of the place. Dinner at Wild Ginger is always something special.

This little place is a real gem. Having lived in Thailand, I can vouch for the authenticity of the food coming out of the kitchen. This small, family-run restaurant offers noodles in every form, and everything I have ever tried has been uniformly tasty and delicious.
My personal favorites are any of the soups, the Phad Thai, and Phad Se Iw. My mouth is watering right now thinking about these dishes!
Portions are very generous, and the prices are scandalously low. The atmosphere is cosy and casual. Eat here once and I'll guarantee you will become a regular!

I have a confession: I love visiting zoos. I realize that such an admission is not really politically correct these days, but if ever there was a case to be made for the ethicacy of zoos I think the Woodland Park Zoo could be cited as a fine example.
The zoo has made a real effort to put the animals in naturalistic enclosures. Not only do the animals look a lot healthier in this environment (I didn't see the "pacing" behavior from the animals that you often see in other zoos) but you can also get some great photos that look like they were taken in the wild.
Of course kids will have a great time, but i think anyone will enjoy a visit to the zoo. Make sure and check out the raptor flying demonstration if you can. They put on a great show!

I was a satisfied regular at Kiku until new owners decided to redecorate and shake-up the menu. The old Kiku used to offer above average food in very generous portions at a great price.
Sadly, the new Kiku seems to serve up average food that does not distinguish itself in any way from from the myriad of other options in the U district.
Considering how many fantastic places there are to eat in Seattle, I would not go out of my way to visit Kiku.

I'm a huge fan of Apple computers, and I really like shopping at Apple's retail stores. That said, a few months ago I found myself shopping for a case for my new Powerbook, and I really wasn't happy with the selection offered at the Apple Store.
I headed over to The Mac Store and was really impressed with the store, the staff, and the selection of products they stocked.
The staff were nice and laid back, but very knowledgeable, and struck the perfect balance of being available to answer questions and letting you browse on your own.
I was so impressed with my first experience at The Mac Store that I have returned several times since to pick up other accessories.

I am somewhat of a connoisseur of burgers, and I can say without hesitation that the Double Bacon Deluxe with Cheese at Red Mill is by far the most outstanding hamburger that has ever passed by my lips.
The ingredients are super fresh and high quality. The atmosphere can sometimes be a little noisy and chaotic, and you will almost certainly have to wait in line to place your order, but the taste you will be rewarded with is well worth any inconvenience.
If you have not yet tried a Red Mill burger you are in for a real treat!

Call me crazy, but I consider theatre atmosphere to be a crucial factor that can affect the movie going experience—a crummy theatre with small screen and bad sound can ruin an otherwise great movie.
Well you don't have to worry about that happening at the Cinerama. Instead it is quite possible that you will leave the theatre thinking a bad movie was great just because of how amazing it looked on the screen.
I was a huge fan before the big restoration, but now it is even better. Everything is state-of-the-art, and the seats are super comfortable. This is THE place in Seattle to see a movie. You won't be disappointed!
