museum in the mountains

I went to the Skirball Center for an alumni event sponsored by my school. While getting there was a hassle for the traffic on a Friday night on the 405, I found the place to be peaceful and interesting. I know they frequently have concerts and various traveling exhibits, such as the one on Einstein recently. They also have kids programs such as storytelling and musical performances as well. Since it's so close to the Getty museum, it might be worth a stop over to see what it has to offer as well. The building was built specifically for this museum, so I imagine they have built in a lot of nice features.
