The workers do a great job and really care about the children. However, it is right across the street from Wayne High School. And with no smoking on school grounds, where's a great place for teachers to go? Yeah, right across the street

Doolittle's is a fantastic pet shop. It is very nice inside, with a huge amount of animals and pretty much every accessory you could want for them. The workers are helpful and knowledgeable. And, this is a great place to take kids even if you don't really have to buy anything from the store! That's why I used to go there!

Some of the stuff is just trash, or at least someone else's treasure, maybe. Some things are priced to high but there is always the chance to haggle. Occasionally there is a great buy. There is an awful lot of stuff packed in here, and kind of makes the store look a little messy. The employees are always nice though.

Taranwould is a great small golf course in Newark. The holes are fun and challenging and it is kept in nice shape. Some of the featured holes are number 9, a replica of Pebble Beach's 11, and number 2, a replica of Augusta's 12. These are examples of what makes Taranwould - it encapsulates a variety of play in short amount of space. All 18 holes are fun, the prices are very good, and the staff is friendly.

The Ontario Public Library is fairly small but has a nice selection. There was an addition added just a few months ago that is supposed to be a new children's section. Besides books, you can also rent magazines, CD's, and movies. The library has internet access as well, and they have some books that are for sale too. It is nice and clean inside, but as already mentioned it is small.

Ocala Palms Golf Club is a nice 9 hole course that runs through a housing develpment. The Course is fun and challenging, and kept in pretty good shape because most of its traffic is from mombers in the development who want to take care of it. There isn't much as far as views because all around it are houses, but the homes are nice and all are about 10 years old or less. The rates are good, and the people are helpful.

It is a bit pricey - about 50 or 55 dollars for 18 holes with a cart for weekdays and weekends, respectively. There is also a great pro shop, a driving range, and a restaurant as part of the complex.

The back is older and more mature than the front which still needs a few years to grow into itself. The prices are very good, about 20-25 dollars a round, and memberships are reasonable too.
