Perfect Outdoor Dining

This is the ultimate Rockford establishment for outdoor dining. Don't let the "tavern" part of its name fool you. This is a great place for salads, burgers, ribs, and typical bar food. It's been in business since 1945 and that says something. This is a great neighborhood joint with better than average food at very reasonable prices. Head for the outdoor beer garden on that lazy summer evening...you won't be sorry.

Great local joint, its been here for forever and everyone pretty much knows where it is. The building is great, but may be a bit of a drive for a work time lunch. The food is good, standard fare but always well done. Atmosphere is casual, great place to meet after work and unwind.
