This is the ultimate Rockford establishment for outdoor dining. Don't let the "tavern" part of its name fool you. This is a great place for salads, burgers, ribs, and typical bar food. It's been in business since 1945 and that says something. This is a great neighborhood joint with better than average food at very reasonable prices. Head for the outdoor beer garden on that lazy summer evening...you won't be sorry.
