The event team is top notch, as is the staff. They must pay well, because it isn't the typical college student home on vacation here. Wedding ceremonies can take place right next to the green with a beautiful fountain in the background.
Don't know if you have to be or know a member.

My cousin had his event here. The staff is friendly and easy to work with.
From what I here, there is some difficulty getting dates here, so reserve early.
Be careful about drinks being spilled on the dancefloor, it becomes very slippery. At every event, someone has slipped and fallen, including a birde who knocked her front teeth out!

Great for small to medium sized events. You will need to bring in an outside caterer.
It has two small rooms that open into one big room. Also good for small weddings, which can take place in the lobby followed by the reception in the meeting rooms.
Also rents for an affordable price. Decent acoustics, easy to get to from freeway.

They have most AV need's on site for a minimal rental fee. The room is very well lit with natural light for spring summer events.
Parking is decent, but most of it is in a gravel parking lot a short walk away.
Good acoustics, and friendly staff on site during events.

It is an old ferry boat from the former Gig Harbor Tacoma ferry run.
It is a decent space, although it is kind of weird that it is separated by the staircases that lead to the passenger deck. The rooms are where the cars used to park. the boat doesn't move. It is a bit difficult for sound purposes because the people usually eat on one side of the boat and then dance on the other, making getting adequate sound to the other side difficult, and the venue doesn't leave really any room for additional speakers to be placed.
One of the event planners on the boat is not personable AT ALL. The one who usually oversees events is good at her job, as well as friendly.
Why anyone would want a party on a boat that doesn't move I don't know... must be a shortage of reception spaces.

They allow outdoor ceremonies on the deck overlooking the golf course. Inside the reception can follow. the meat here is absolutely the best I have ever tasted at any facility in Western Washington.
Although the staff is young, they serve admirably and know their role in the course of the event. The event manager although a bit stressed at times, knows her job well, and knows who she is supposed to schmooze, and does it well.

The Staff of planners is very professional, and easy to work with. They are used to catering to a very discerning clientèle, and it shows.
Always willing to go the extra mile or step for a guest. The rooms for events are also very nice. They can provide projectors and screens for presentations.
Bathrooms, and overall first impression upon entering is impressive.

I have only been here for wedding receptions, and holiday parties. the staff seems to be decent, I would say this is more of a typical hotel/conference center type of venue. Some of the event planners are kind of young, and a bit inexperienced, but I have never seen anything really messed up. I would say that I haven't seen anything spectacular though.
The food is average, but not bad in any way. The desserts the same. Bar service can be slow if you don't request a second bar.
For vendors, because it is a secured area, there a few hoops to jump through for approval. Also, vendors are required to pay for parking across the street.
Nice rooms and view, as well as ambiance, but nothing stands out here.

This is a ritzy place to hold a wedding ceremony and reception. The wedding coordinator is very helpful, and the view is amazing! For ceremonies, most people use one room at one end of the building, then have a cocktail hour in the middle, followed by dining in the room with the view.
The staff then breaks down the room the ceremony was in and set's up for dancing cake cutting etc.
Can be a bit difficult for DJ's who may need to bring two separate systems to accommodate ceremony music, then background cocktail/dinner music, then back to dancing in the ceremony room.
The downstairs garage attendant is cool, and has worked there for over 20 years supposedly.
The food is top notch.

This former restaurant has a great wedding planning staff, gourmet chef, and cozy feel. they have a dance floor in the middle surrounded by booths and tables, with a stage at one end, on top of which is a grand piano.
For ceremonies, the dance floor doubles as a seating area. there is a place for dj's on the stage, or off to the side if they are providing ceremony music.
The food is very very good for food catered by the venue. It is dramatic inside, great for very formal events. Also has a good view.
