I had a certificate for a several free services at this salon, so I decided to go in for a free trim just to test the waters. I had an appointment when I arrived, and even though I was the only one in the salon, I waited about 15 minutes to be seen (and I was exactly on time). The gal gave me a great scalp and shoulder massage while she washed my hair, but when she got me in the chair, it was like she stopped listening. I told her I just wanted a trim - nothing too different. I mentioned that I can't see anything without my glasses, and I also mentioned that I had another appointment to make after this one. She stopped cutting my hair to answer both the office phone and her cell phone several times. She kept asking me how I was liking my hair, and I kept telling her that I couldn't see without my glasses. She wouldn't stop pushing me to buy the products, even after I told her I really couldn't afford it. When it was all said and done, she'd taken almost 3 inches off and had styled it completely differently. I didn't want different, and I had made it very clear. She was too interested with giving me something new. Plus, I ended up late for my other appointment because she kept answering her phones. Very unhappy.
