You step back in time when you visit Batsto. There are working displays like a brick maker and a blacksmith. There is a wonderful nature center. The grounds offer great places to picnic or just lay back and take in the great outdoors. The large mansion that was the owner's home when the village was founded to dig out iron ore is so impressive. The home is decorated in the style of the period and it is exquisite. This is a great place to take the family for the whole day!
