This is a hidden gem in West County. It boasts excellent lake fish and the top item on the menu is called the Shore Lunch (a breaded walleye sandwich). In addition, it's one of the few places in St. Louis that regularly features a frog leg appetizer. This item is very well done but it tends not to be as tender as it should be. Prices range from about $6 for a burger to $18 for the top steak. The only downside to this place is the service. Although well meaning, it tends to be slow. But even with slow service, the quality of the food (particularly the fish) is well worth a visit.
