We had a work event here recently with about 20 people. We had several tables set up in the upstairs area with a buffet table in the smaller attached room. There was also a small bar that they manned for us serving beer and wine. A huge plus was that there are men's and women's bathrooms upstairs so you dont need to go all the way downstairs!
The only detractors could be that it really smells like a brewery (the hops!)! But, the food was good and Jude, the woman who worked with us, was fantastic.
In general however I don't really like Hales from my experiences in the brewery restaurant part. I probably won't go there privately again but I WOULD choose to host an event there again since it was nice and private and well organized.

I was here for a Cajun Mardi Gras community event and concert. It was suprisingly easy to get to from Seattle! The large downstairs area is kind of like a big ballroom and there is a small kitchen attached which is perfect for catering! There are bathrooms on the main level as well with a good entry way for coat checking or an admissions area. It is all very roomy yet cozy and homey feeling. I didn't check out the upstairs however. The surrounding area is nice as well with the park across the street as Molly mentioned.

I've eaten here twice since it changed to the 35th St. Bistro and it's gross. I had a scallop appetizer which was inedible. It tasted rancid almost. My boyfriend ordered calamari which were also very unappetizing and tasted terrible. For my main dish I had a pasta dish which, after I only ate some of it we didn't even bother to take home because it was so bad. I was very disappointed by one of the worst meals I've ever had in Fremont and by how expensive that terrible meal was!!!! I won't go back again.

This place has good Thai food that is reasonably priced AND they have FREE delivery - which many of the other Fremont Thai restaurants do not. That is probably the main reason I order from them. If I were to venture out in Fremont to dine in I would probably go to Jai Thai, because it has a fun atmosphere, or the place next door to Qazi's because I think it's better.

We recently had an alumni holiday party and called Pour Girls to bartend. It was short notice but they were helpful and friendly and got us the bartender we needed. Their rates were a bit higher than I was expecting - $30-35 or so per hour plus the cost of ice and tip, but our bartender (Kenna) was wonderful. She was upbeat, got their early to set up the bar area, and even helped quite a bit with our clean up. I will definitely use them again when I need another bartender. We only served beer and wine, and had about 50-75 people, so it was pretty easy, but having a bartender definitely made a difference. Our bartender brought ice and tubs to hold the ice and beer/wine that needed chilling. Overall it was a positive experience and I would recommend them.

I haven't eaten here but I can vouch for the bar. They have some really cheap deals for well drinks and the bartenders know how to pour a good drink. The extra dirty martinis are delicious and the rum & cokes are good too. Not much on the beer menu here, so get mixed drinks instead.
The atmosphere is great here too. Not overly trendy or obscure, it has a good crowd.

This place is open late if not 24 hrs, and can be a good place to get after hours food. I haven't actually eaten here, and, while the food looked kind of nasty, when it's that late at night you typically don't care.
The right side of the place is more diner focused and the left side is more bar-ish, but there isn't really a difference so it doesn't matter where you sit. There are always people here and it's very down to earth. No PBR on tap though, which was disappointing. The juke box played some good music (pixies).
Overall we've had fun here and I would recommend it.

Tini Bigs is located conveniently close to the Seattle Center for before-event partying. They also offer a popular happy hour for after work fun.
They specialize in overpriced fancy drinks, most notably large dessert-like martinis (examples include the dirty girl scout, the mocha-tini, etc.). The fancy drinks were tasty but really sweet and, at $8-10, not worth it. The service was horribly slow. We ordered appetizers that were disgusting. The calamari was inedible and the dipping sauce was nasty! The pita and hummus plate was ok.
If you are into smoking cigars, they have a wide selection of those, and a lot of people smoke them there.
The booths are nice.
Overall, this place is not recommended and I doubt I'll go back again.

I went here for lunch with people from work and it seemed like many others were there under the same circumstances. We had reservations which was lucky since it was crowded. It is also right by the Factoria mall so there were shoppers there as well. The food was good, though probably priced hire than it should be. I would recommend this place for lunch if you are in the area, but I wouldn't recommend you make much of an effort to go there.

Yep that's right. Italian food from Asians you ask? Well, why not? And that's the whole story of the restaurant, which is why they called it Perche No, which means "why not?". The food here was ok. I don't think I'll go back. The atmosphere was also ok and it smelled kind of gross inside. However, the restaurant was packed, which makes you think it has to be good, so maybe I just chose the wrong menu item? It is just about impossible to get dinner here without reservations on the night of a Sonics game since it is within walking distance to the Key Arena. I was there on such a night, but we had reservations. The service was really quick, almost too quick really, making you feel like they wanted you out of there. We had wine, apps, entrees, and dessert in 1 hour and 5 minutes. There were also a lot of rowdy diners pre-game (painting letters on their stomachs etc.). This would be a good place to go with a group. There is a lot of rabbit on the menu which struck me as kind of odd also. Finally, they have a live piano player, which was probably the best thing about the restaurant. Overall, not highly recommended by me.
