Stop by to buy a kite before heading to Gasworks Park

This little shop located on Stone Way by the Burke-Gilman Trail and Lake Union has a huge selection of kites and a variety of other little toys and gadgets. The staff is super knowledgeable about kites and kiting (compared to me who knows very little) and they are very friendly. Before heading to the coast one day, we stopped by to pick out a kite and the woman working there helped us pick out a cute blue seagull model that was rated as easy in terms of level of difficulty. We love the kite! She also gave us some key pointers on how to get it in the air and keep it there. It’s been fun and I’ll definitely go back to buy some fun and unique gifts for friends.
