Along Interstate 55 in Sikeston, Mo is a unique restaurant named Lambert's Cafe. For a long time, I didn't even know that was the name of it-because it was always referred to by my in-laws (frequent visitors to the place) as "throwed rolls". Lambert's is a must for down home cookin' at it's best...and yes, the do throw the rolls. A tradition that started when during a busy time of day a customer wanting another roll yelled for the waiter to "just throw it"! I understand they now have 2 other locations, around Branson and in Foley, AL. Check this out-kids would love it!
