Independant/foreign Film Mecca

Lincoln Plaza Cinemas is one of those places that you know you'll always see a good film. Mostly showing foreign or independent film, the Lincoln Plaza Cinemas often is the only theatre showing a particular film. The Angelica Theatre on Houston is quite similar to this theatre. Big films often sell out so I would recommend buying your tickets in advance. Some of my favorite films ever I've seen here. My only gripe is that the seating isn't raked well. When it's a packed house and there's subtitles to read you'll be moving your head from side to side to see the screen.
