Cazbar just opened this week and is a wonderful new addition to the Charles Street restaurant scene. The restaurant, which reopened in the former Shogun, is beautifully decorated. And the food is phenomenal. I had the house gyro, which is unlike any gyro I've ever seen before. Two huge seasoned pitas, topped with four large lamb chops, fried goat cheese balls, and tzaziki sauce. We also had the desserts, which were delicious. The staff was friendly, and the chef came to our table and had a nice chat with us.
I hope everyone tries this place out so it thrives!

We rented a condo here while in Ocean City for our conference. The condo was lovely and nicely decorated. The rooms had plenty of beds and were comfortable. Each room has a balcony and both sides of the building have a water view. The price was very reasonable and the security guard on duty was very friendly and helpful. They also have a pool and ocean access.

This is my favorite restaurant in Ocean City. I haven't had anything here that wasn't wonderful. My personal favorite is the prime rib, although the ribs themselves are to die for. I don't usually like ribs because of the mess involved, but these were so tender that the meat was falling off the bone. The appetizers are really good too, especially the onion loaf and the shrimp toast.

Fish Tales is a fun little restaurant that is right on the water. The entire restaurant is set outside on a man-made beach with outdoor tables and chairs. Tiki torches are a festive touch. The food at this place is quite good...I'd recommend the shrimp salad and the sweet potato fries (more like dessert though, as they are covered in cinnamon and sugar). Also highly recommended is the red velvet cake. Mmm!
However, prepare for a HUGE wait at this place unless you go very late. The lines are usually 1.5-2 hours.

This hotel is outstanding. The rooms are spacious and well equipped (ours was a two room suite with a refrigerator, stove, and sink). There is a nice pool, and a sundeck with lounge chairs and a great view of the ocean (if you don't want to go down and get all sandy on the beach, like me). Everything is clean and well kept up. It is a bit pricey, but we enjoyed our stay.

I happen to think this is the best club in Ocean City. It is ginormous, first of all, and made up of several different bars and clubs in one (there's also a restaurant, but I have never eaten there). They usually book really great live music, and there's a large dance floor. They also have a really good house drink that involves mango juice and spiced rum. The bartenders are pretty attentive even when the place is ridiculously crowded. The only problem is that during holiday weekends it fills up so quickly and there is a HUGE wait to get in...so go early!

Lester's hosted my sister's wedding reception recently and did a great job. The food was tasty, everything was set up beautifully, and everything ran smoothly. The staff is very friendly. And the best part is that Lester's has Hall's Takes the Cake, which was amazing (I highly recommend the raspberry cake, mm!). This is a great place for a party or reception.

At Cracker Barrel, you get a lot of delicious food for a reasonable price. All of their food tastes homecooked and the atmosphere is one akin to Little House on the Prairie. Their hash brown casserole and sausage especially are wonderful. Plus, while you wait for a table, you can poke around their old time general store, which always has lots of unique items.

My friends and I used to frequent the Texas Roadhouse in Bloomington and always enjoyed the food. So we were happy when they built one in our hometown. Except...based on the traffic in that place you'd think it was the only restaurant in town, even though it's been open a few years now! The wait time to get a table is positively insane! And...counterintuitively...if you have a big party they refuse to do reservations or call ahead seating. To me this does not make sense, as if I had to prepare a large table, I would want warning that they were coming. To wit: we had my sister's bachelorette party dinner there. We were a party of ten, and we had to wait almost two hours to be seated. Apparently there was only one table that they had set up to accommodate ten, and the party using it refused to leave even though they had finished eating. So rather than set up another table, the restaurant made us wait. It's not worth it, even though the food is good.

Unfortunately we don't have O'Charleys on the East Coast, but I always make sure to stop in when I visit my hometown.
Why O'Charley's is the best:
1. Offers Diet Mountain Dew and Diet Dr. Pepper in addition to Diet Coke. Thank you for acknowledging that many people like diet soda and want something other than cola!
2. The rolls. Mmm. Soft, warm, and unlimited!
3. The side salads. Large, with lots of toppings.
4. The Sunday prime rib. So good!
5. The loaded potato soup. Delicious!
6. The service. Almost always friendly and fast.
