In Other Words is one of the best sources of feminist literature in Portland. Cool neighborhood, great staff, serious selection, easy to spend hours here. Comfortable atmosphere, standard prices, and some used books makes me much more eager to spend my money here than at a chain bookstore. And though it may be sacrilege, I would say come here before Powell's for this specialized subject matter. Highly recommended for gifts/gift certificates.
