Our dogs love going to Bark. How can they complain? They walk in and one of the friendly staff gives them a treat and immediately starts rubbing their ears. Not only are they friendly at Bark but the staff is always ready and willing with recommendations for whatever dog food is the latest and greatest. One of my dogs has a weight problem and we always go to Bark to get him his diet food there. The prices are on par with other pet stores in town. They stand above the rest by their kind, courteous service.

I'm in the minority. I know this review isn't going to win me any friends but I just am not fond of Rudy's Barber Shop. After hearing so many glowing reviews of Rudy's Barber shop I just had to go. I left feeling like I got scammed. My only requirement of going to get my hair cut someplace new is that the person cutting my hair has to have a better haircut than me. Is that too much to ask? This was not the case at Rudy's. I realize they try to be experiemental but come on! The guy cutting my hair had what looked like chunks taken out of his hair. I may just be getting old but I found them a little too hipster/avant-garde for my tastes. This is definitely not your old school barber shop.

If you are not satisfied with run of the mill appliances that you see at the big box stores I'd recommend checking out Albert Lee. They've been in Seattle for decades now and the quality of their merchandise is always first rate. They have all the higher end appliance brands that you could be looking for. The prices are reasonable for the merchandise that you're buying - if you complain about the price you're in the wrong store! Also, their sales team are very skilled and know their product inside and out.

Prepare to wait to experience this little slice of Japanese cuisine. Musashi's is a well known, very much appreciated "hole in the wall". I'd recommend it to anyone who wants good sushi at great prices. There is no fanfare here. It is a small restaurant with maybe 10 or 12 tables. Each table only seats 2 or 3 people at the very most. However, you may have to wait a while but you'll save $$$ compared to dining at other Japanese restaurants around town. When you go be sure to order the chirashi. It's not on the menu and the best price in town.

Barnes and Nobles this is definitely NOT. I love this book store. It has the feel of a small town neighborly bookstore where size is not as important as a sheer appreciation for literature.
They offer mainstream books as well as more independent and locale authors as well. Come here on a cold rainy Seattle afternoon and you'll never want to leave!

I'm not 100% sure on the history of the theater but I do know its been around a LONG time. It was lovingly restored a few years back and it is my favorite place to see a movie. With a traditional styled box office in the front of the theater to the fact that it only has three screens it shows that size is not as important as class and style. I'd recommend to anyone who hasn't seen a movie at the Majestic Bay to definitely check it out. Since there are only three screens I'd also suggest getting to your movie early. This theater is no secret and it gets busy. My only complaint is that the rows in the theater only have 1 access point. You could be sitting on the far left side of the row up against a wall - if you have to go to the bathroom prepare to have to climb over the entire row of people to get out!

This is definitely not your run of the mill Blockbuster. They do offer all the latest movies but people in the know don't go to Scarecrow to rent Spy Kids. They go to Scarecrow to rent that jewel in the rough movie that few have ever heard about. They have an incredible foreign movie collection and an amazing Japanese manga/anime selection. If you're looking for a hard to find movie - this is the place to go. My only complaint is that its only in the University district. Its a little far to drive - but worth it if they have that hard to find movie!

They offer tons of beautiful houseplants and garden accessories. If you need a pair of garden shears or a birthday gift for your green thumbed friend its the perfect place to stop in.

I'll be honest, we chose this place because it is near our house. Its just a hole in the wall place that doesn't really do the taxes there. They gather info, then fill out a form and then send all paperwork to a another place in Everett somewhere. They got our taxes done in time but it is pretty much your run of the mill tax prep place without any fanfare. But hey..its just taxes right?

The staff is friendly and they are well briefed on the specials of the day. I highly recommend this place for the quality of the seafood and for the value.
