Over-priced average-quality food

Broadway Grill serves decent food, but it is a bit on the expensive side. The non-smoking area is a sunken dining room with poor acoustics; it gets very noisy. The smoking section borders the windows at street level, so you can watch the characters passing on Broadway. There is also a long counter with about 10 stools; this is nice for single diners and for people who like to watch their food being cooked. Most of their dishes are okay, but not spectacular. The pancakes are not very fluffy, and they are ridiculously overpriced. The hollandaise sauce on the Eggs Benedict is unlike any I've ever tasted; it is very unpleasant. On weekends they have a breakfast buffet which is a good value. There is a big neon sign in the window that proclaims "Serving Food til 3 AM", but my buddy and I stumbled in there one morning at 2:15 and were told that the kitchen was closed.
