Someone told me Flower World is the Walmart of nurseries, which is true. The place is huge, and the selection vast. The price is low compared to other places and the quality is average. Since the price is already low there isn't a lot of sales going on. They do sometimes have a sale (10% or so) after thanksgiving though.
They have some interesting fruit trees that can't be found elsewhere.

They also have a walking trail (into the woods and along a creek) at the back of the nursery in case you want a break from hectic shopping :-)

I've seen Dr Lawes a few times. She is patient and tries to explain things to me clearly. Some other general practitioners I visited in the past were just interested in rushing me out of the door....

She is also in until 7:30pm for some weekdays. This is convenient for folks who work late.

I used to hate going to dentist but not more after seeing Dr Brooks and his staff. Dr Brooks, his hygienists (Dave and Veronica), and the receptionist Marcy are very friendly people who make my visit a comfortable one.
The hygienists are patient and caring. After your regular cleanup, they give you a scorecard with gradings for your dental health. They also pinpoint trouble areas and tell you how to improve.

Good quality plants with lots of varieties to choose from. Has lots of plants from Monrovia.
The spring bareroot sale and the autumn plant sale (40% off shrubs and many things) are a bargain. I usually shop during those times. They also tend to hand out $10 off $25 (or something similar) coupons in spring. They also hand out coupons in the spring Northwest Garden Show.
The gardening accessories are also of good quality although I find them to be priced higher than other places.
