The Museum of Flight has got some of the neatest exhibits I've ever seen at a museum. From the story of the Boeing Company to the recently-donated British Airways Concorde, for anyone who's remotely interested in planes, travel or things that hang out in the sky, will really enjoy this place. There are many films shown, and for school groups, you can go on a neat simulation of a space-shuttle mission.

The Frye Art Museum is usually pretty creative in the exhibits they put on. The standing collections are small, but good. But the rotating shows are usually pretty interesting. A while back, they had a great show of David Horsey (the P-I cartoonist) and some of his incredibly funny cartoons.
There's a tasty cafe, and best of all, the entire museum is FREE!

The SAAM is going under some construction right now and is closed through January 2006. What this means for you is that you'll have to wait to experience the great collections of mostly East Asian art. There is a great library in the basement of the building. The special exhibits are usually thorough and very interesting. A recent one I enjoyed was a collection of various depictions of Bhudda in varied cultures throughout east Asia. Admission is free the first Thursday and Saturday of the month.

There is a great collection of Asian Art displayed at the downtown museum, as well as some really interesting European pieces. The special exhibits are frequently groundbreaking and often fun. A good family outing.

A good cleaner, located on E Olive Way near the Starbucks at Summit Avenue. The service is always two-days, judging by my experience, but the pricing is the same as a same-day cleaner. This is kind of a drawback, as you pay the same to get less service. The actual cleaning done is okay, and nothing special. Some alterations are done upon request. Good in a pinch, but again, nothing to write home about.

This used to be a big problem in the past, but seems to have been less of an issue later. The staff can be sassy, but are generally well-informed on the various books they have in stock. You do have to check all of the bags that are big enough to steal a cat in - apparently this does happen. Those who are allergic, be wary.

It's a straightforward place and the employees are friendly and knowledgable. The selection of titles available for rent is diverse and sometimes eclectic. An enjoyable experience :-)
