Urban Cellars is a great place if you are looking for some affordable but yet good wine. the owner is very friendly and will tell you more than you want to know about wine. He has a great sense of humor and a very good selection of wine from Europe to Napa. Check it out in the friendly neighborhood of Noe Valley.

The best American restaurant in Noe Valley on 24th. Breakfast, lunch or dinner...all their dishes are excellent and the atmosphere is great. The staff is very friendly and they have an outdoor patio. The oatmeal pancakes, French crepes and pear salad are my favourites. Very affordable. Family/friendly oriented. A variety of dishes from Omelettes, to crepes to sandwiches. A must for food lover !

The Calistoga Inn is one of the cheapest place to stay in Calistoga. The inconvenience is that you have to share the bathrooms and toilets, they only provide one sink per room. The rooms don t have AC but a fan is provided...that was not enough to handle the 100 degrees heat in August. They have live music downstairs so don t stay in this hotel if you want to have a quiet and romantic trip, do so if you like cheap hotel, good music and beers, they do have a brewery.
