Hours are very convenient, they have classes every day, Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 6:30am. If you are a new student, you only pay 10 dollars for 10 consecutive days so it s a good deal if you want to check it out and see if it fits you. They also have gift certificates and on Saturdays and Sundays in the evening they offer the classes in Spanish.

The MCCFLA is the best place in town to learn all kinds of dance, music and crafts. they offer classes in Afro brazilian and afro peruvian dances, capoeira, dance azteca, salsa, flamenco, argentinean tango, ballet and hip hop. THey have music class, I especially like the brazilian percussion where you come with your instruments and jam with other people. You can also come on Saturday during the Brazilian Carnaval Dance class and play for the class while other students learn how to dance. They also have silkscreen textile and paper workshops as well as photography class. The price per class is between 8 and 12 dollars and you can get discount coupons. They also have funn events, exhibition and a film festival. The staff is very friendly.

The classes are at night from 6:30pm to 8pm and they have different levels. There are about 2 sessions per semester of each levels. While you are in the center you can also enjoy different Brazilian activities, get in touch with the Brazilian world and practice Capoiera, even for adults. The portuguese class costs 200 dollars.
