The Martini list on the front is amazing. I can't wait to hit Happy Hour to try many of the amazing sounding items on the list. Set in an old chapel, the stained glass windows and high ceilings create an enticing atmosphere. My only complaint is the service seemed very slow, the bartenders were too busy flirting to make drinks. It was packed on Saturday night, but I have heard it is not so busy on the weeknights.

Although not as big as some plant nurseries out in the suburbs, this garden center in the city packs a punch! I am amazed at how many different types of plants and garden accessories that they are able to store in such a limited space. I recently helped a friend select numerous plants for some of her large outdoor plants, and we had a blast looking at all the different plant options. They also have some amazing, for lack of a better term, garden art. Here's a tip: the have a back garden as well that has the best trees and garden art, and most people don't seem to know about it.

Mieko's is a nice little neighborhood fitness center where you can run on treadmills, lift weights or use nautilus, or take an aerobics class. the staff is generally very friendly and does an excellent job of keeping the facility clean. The one problem is the very tiny locker room. It gets crowded very easily and there are some patrons who like to spend an excessive amount of time in there and make it cramped for everyone else. There could also be a better ventilation system in the locker room, because sometimes the cologne that some patrons use linger for long periods of time. But, other than that, it's great. One nice feature is that the treadmills have their own flat screen televisions. That can help ease the pain of running!

I used this garage once because of convenience, and I will never go back. While I think the repairs done on my vehicle were done correctly, I feel that the service I received was so unacceptable that even if my repairs were free I would rather pay. I have never walked out of any business establishment feeling any more horrible than I did when I left this garage.

It's funny how far pet ownership has come. Who would have thought that one day there would be a bakery dedicated strictly to the canine palate? Well, that day has already come, and Three Dog Bakery delivers. I recently attended a doggie birthday party, and the cake was provided by Three Dog, and the dog guests absolutely loved it. Having never tried the baked goods myself (not being a dog and all) I can only go by the tail waggings and food hoovering to assume the treats are tasty.

Simply stated, I love this theater! They have so many great shows playing here, I wish I could clone myself to go and see all of them. And then there is the ambiance of the theater itself. The elaborate moldings make the venue seem very glamorous. Unfortunately, given the casual nature of Seattle, the illusion is lost when you see many of the patrons milling about in inappropriate attire. So, my suggestion is find a show you want to see, get all dressed up and head to the theater.

Ballard Avenue has really gotten to be the new address for cool shops. Lola Lola is one of the aforementioned cool shops. It has a very modern feel, which for me adds to the appeal. On a completely superficial level, one of my best friends is nicknamed Lola, so it always makes me happy to think of her. I love to wander in here and check out the cards and furniture and whatnot. It really sparks the creative juices.

If you don't know the Paramount, you don't know Seattle. This historical theater has played host to some amazing musical artists as well as some of the most fantastic touring Broadway shows. I have enjoyed countless shows here over the years, and was thrilled when the Paramount was remodeled in the 90's. They retained the classic decor and charm, but upgraded the venue to reflect the high tech nature of the region.
