I have had my car fixed twice at Rick's--both times I received an up front and fair estimate, which the shop honored (i.e., I did not pay more at the time the actual bill arrived, and once I even paid less).
On my last visit, they put a new alternator in. A couple of weeks later, my battery light came on again. I brought it into Rick's in the morning, and by noon they had put in a new alternator, no charge. I trust these guys.
