The Bad Juju is a great bar located on Capitol Hill. It is a great place to kick back and relax and have a several drinks with some friends. The atmosphere is dark, with limited lighting and New Orleans voodoo art found throughout the bar. The house music is always great (DJ music most nights), which is good because they play it loud. Not recommended if you want something quiet. Bar food includes tacos and nachos.
The Neumos ticket office is located here, and the only place to get advance tickets to Neumos shows without paying the ticket fee charges.

If you have not seen a movie at the Cinerama, you are missing out on an amazing experience! The huge screen, incredible sound, and luxurious seats, blows away all other theaters I have been to.
The Cinerama mostly shows major blockbuster movies, but they choose films that look and sound great in their theater. No independent movies here! Check out the Landmark Theatres if you are looking for independent. When I want to see a major action or sci-fi flick, I check to see if it will be playing at Cinerama before I look elsewhere.
Since the Cinerama has only one screen, they don’t switch movies very often. Also, if you want to see a popular movie on opening weekend, it is important to buy tickets in advance.

The Stumbling Monk is a nice corner bar that specializes in Belgian beers. This is my favorite place to go to relax and have a beer or two. It is a great setting for small groups of four or less. If you do not like beer, there is not much else that The Stumbling Monk has to offer, as there is no kitchen and no liquor… just good beer. They recently did away with smoking at this bar, which makes drinking at this bar even more pleasant.

The Rock Bottom has one of my favorite Happy Hour spots in Seattle. M-F from 3-6 they have $3 pints and wells. The happy hour menu includes burger and fries, calamari, pizza, and quesadillas (There is also a late night happy hour menu). If you are a member of Mug Club, you get happy hour beer prices all the time, plus your beers come in a 20 oz mug rather than the standard 16 oz. The beer is decent. My favorite is the Rain City Red, but there is always a seasonal/specialty brew on the menu that is worth trying.
This place is often crowded, especially the outdoor patio in the summer.
For those looking for a decent meal, this place has above average Pub/American food. I have tried the burgers, salads, and fajitas, and have been pleased with it all.

Post Alley pizza is a little pizza joint tucked away in Post Alley (between 1st Ave and Western) on Seneca. This spot is primarily for the lunch work crowd. Hours are M-F, 11 to 8. The main attraction here is the New York style pizza by the slice (Pepperoni, Cheese, Veggie, and Special) and the hot hero sandwiches. Made to order Caesar and Greek salads are also available. Post Alley pizza also has an excellent choice of specialty pizzas, if you ever choose to order a whole pie.

This restaurant is a great lunch spot for people looking for something quick, but cozy atmosphere. The fare is both Mexican and Italian, which is a little odd -- but it works. The food is not the best (I find most of it pretty bland), but it is cheap and quick. Two items on the menu that I was very satisfied with were the Pork Polenta and the Chili Rellano. Not sure what this restaurant would be like during dinner hours, but I think I will stick to lunch.
