Florentine is a tutoring institution for all students. They focus mainly on summer classes to provide preparation for fall. They also specialize in specialized high school tutoring and psats. In addition to academic classes, they have classes in art and music. The great thing about Florentine is that they test their students before they are enrolled, to see which classes suit them, whether they are more advanced or at the normal pace. This way, students are placed in the appropriate level classes. This personalized attention is great but it comes with a price. Approximately 1 1/2 months in the summer runs around 1000 dollars.

Berta 67 contains 2 stories full of home furnishings and decorative pieces. On the first floor, you will find unique vases, centerpieces and gifts. Their collection of Precious Moments pieces are great! On the second floor, you will find curtains, linens, sheets, bath towels and more! You can always find a perfect gift for a house warming or wedding at this store. However, be sure to come with enough cash or a credit card because Berta 67 does price their pieces pretty high. If this is too pricey for you, wait till they have their "yard" sale of open items outside their store for a fraction of the price.

King's Clothing is located on 18th ave in Bensonshurst Brooklyn surrounded by pharmacies, photo shops, and fast food places. King has clothing for women, men, boys and infants. Their clothes are cheap and great if you want to wear it once for a school performance or practice. However, the quality of the clothing is not that great and doesn't seem that comfortable. Their are school uniforms for cheap so if you rkids often get them dirty, this is the place to go to replace them. Store is messy and is sometimes hard to find what you need.

Dr. Sharon Zheng's office is located on Mott street in Chinatown. Her office is located in a building with other doctors as well, which makes it very convenient. She is a very nice doctor and always willing to listen. However, the wait time in her office is always very long. Be prepared to spend 1 hour waiting on busy days. If you don't have an appointment, be prepared to wait longer.

I had my nails done at File It Nail Salon for my high school prom. I had french tips and it ran me around $20 including tip. It was nicely done but I felt the customer service felt impersonal. While my nails were being done, I felt like they were rushing to get it done so they could get to other customers. They did have a large selection of colors to choose from. Overall, the job was good but the service wasn't.

I went to get a new haircut a month ago at Jun's Salon. It is located on Mott street, 2 blocks upwards from Canal Street. It's a nice little salon located next to a trendy noodle shop and other restaurants. Walking inside, I can tell that this salon just opened, with clean floors, chairs and equipment. All the stylists looked hip and trendy and seemed like they knew the lastest fashions. I got my hair layered and the stylist did a great job! She gave me a nice choppy layer look that I loved. She is also considerate to your wishes, always asking whether she was cutting too much or too little. Great place, decent price!

Out of all the bubble tea cafes I've tasted, Ten Ren makes the best in Chinatown. There bubbles are always the right texture and just the right amount of sweetness. There is also a great variety. There is at least 15 unique flavors you can choose from, such as apple green tea, passionfruit, mango, etc. You can also order Chinese noodles and dumplings as well if you get hungry. The drinks are perfect but the drinks are a little pricey. $3 for a small drink that I drink in 20 minutes but it is worth it. They also have a membership card, for every 10 drinks, I think you get one free.

Ten Zan is a Japanese style restaurant located in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, an Italian and Chinese neighborhood. It is surrounded by many shops and drug store pharmacys, clothings shops and markets. The exterior is decorated by faux bamboo. Walking inside, there is a dim light setting, making it feel like a very comfortable atmosphere. On the right, there is a sushi bar where there is always fresh sushi being made. Walking further in, there are tables and booths. The thing I love most about Ten Zan is that they have personal rooms with sliding doors that fit 4 to 8 people. I love going here for these rooms. It makes you feel like you're having your own private dinner. If you ever need service, there is a light switch to turn on. This way, you and your guest are never bothered unless you ask them to. The lunch special is also very afforable, around $5 to $6 for a lunch box! And it tastes delicious. The same lunch boxes goes for $15 at dinner time so lunch time is the time to go!
