Grand Manna Bakery located on Grand Street is in the midst of many outdoor market places selling vegetables and fruits. It doesn't supply a large variety of pastries, cakes or buns but it offers nice warm cozy seating. I enjoy coming in for a warm cup of milk tea that costs 60 cents on a cold winter day. During the summer time, they offer a variety of fresh fruit drinks that costs from $1.50 to $4.00.

Tai Pan sells a large variety of cakes pastries and buns. Their prices are slightly higher than average however their products tastes much better than their competitors. I have ordered birthday cakes here before and I strongly recommend the Mango Fresh Fruit Cake. It is very delicious and costs $8 per lb. A cake that can serve 8 guests costed me around $16.

This is the best place for delicious authentic vietnamese cuisine. I usually order a regular size bowl of Pho or grilled pork chop on rice. These dishes cost approximately $5 each and is affordable and provide quick service. For people with only half an hour lunch break, you can eat in and make it back to work in time. If you are really hungry, you can upgrade your bowl of pho to an extra large size for only an extra dollar.

Recently, a Viet sandwich store opened on 57th street and 8th avenue. It's sandwiches are priced at $2.75 each, which is 50 cents cheaper than Chinatown in Manhattan. The sandwiches are made to order so you will never receive a cold sandwich. Very delicious feeling, a mix of meat and vegetables, sweet and sour in a toasty, crunchy bread.

Clothes are hanging from the ceiling and walls and the only way to get to them is to ask the owner to unhook them for you. It is also very crowded and not pleasant to walk around in.
