Loads of selections of pizza both thin and thick crusts. Loved the grandmother's pizza. Also has dining room with typical Italian menu. Good catering menu. No liquor license. Reservations not necessary. Staff tend to be young and inexperienced but generally tries hard. Best for pizza in pizzeria section before a movie. Pasta dishes in dining room are good but generally heavy on the garlic.

Rustic family dining with really interesting and diverse seafood selection. Love their garlic crab clusters. All dinners come with several side dishes including really good onion rings. Skip the large oyster crackers on table-- kind of tasteless. Save room for Kentucky derby pie or key lime pie. No liquor license or reservations so best to come early or be prepared for a wait. Open in season and some weekends in fall.
Also has excellent takeout fish including seasoned, breaded but uncooked selections

Located in a good motel right on the ocean, this dining room offers more than hotel food. The sushi bar is great. The regular menu contains enough different options to satisfy anyone. Great fish selection based on truly fresh fish. Wonderful thick prime rib is a specialty. The Engleside has a very good wine list (a rarity on LBI!) and a smoking room off the bar which is not annoying to those in the regular dining room. Good food at a reasonable price and open all year.

This is a hidden gem on LBI -- a place to work out, with or without a trainer, right on the Island. This place has wonderful trainers and excellent classes . This gym is available for daily or longer term clients. Knowledgeable and friendly staff offer classes that include spin, weight training, aerobics, yoga, bosu, kick boxing and more. The place is small so it sometimes fills up in the mornings but late morning and afternoon is generally lightly used.
Clean and well managed.
I am stronger and can run forever after training regularly there.

Desserts are wonderful. Don't miss s'mores or fondue nights. Excellent coffees and chai. I especially like the chocolate mudbars. Just added breakfast to menu. Open nites and weekends when not in season. During the season, this a great place to relax in the evenings but it does get busy. Don't miss the snickerdoodle coffee.Owners Harvey and Nancy are lovely people.

Service anywhere on LBI. Your dogs or cats get to stay home in a familiar environment. They are lovingly taken care of-- treated like they were the sitter's own. She can administer medications, including shots, if necessary as she is a trained vet tech. The pets are walked, fed and played with in a schedule that is worked out with the owner.
My dogs were regularly given new toys and treats. When we were gone for two weeks, she came and watched tv with them so they would not feel lonely; in addition to their regular walks. She really puts her heart and soul into giving them the best possible care
