this place didnt have antiques per se, but it did have an interesting collection of items from aroound the world. It would be hard to give this store a theme other than "unique". Their stuff is good quality though, not junk and you will pay accordingly. But you can find things that are bargains too. The clerks will tell you about the item, where it came from and if it contains any special meaning etc... They can ship anywhere for a fee, which I suggest they do as they know how to package items for best delivery.

You can paddle around lake union - as long as you keep close to shore and enjoy the scenery. You can go by the Sleepless in Seattle area where Tom Hanks lived on the boat house. Bring a small cooler of food and drink to take on the canoe with you and have a picnick while floating around. It does take effort to padde and stear the canoe though, and be sure to wear clothes that can get a little wet.

The pricing is kinda high, but worth it. The service is typical, most of your contact will be with the pilot who is not concerned about sales and customer service -- so dont expect him to be a tour guide. Although if you ask him to make the place do a few extra turns or ups and downs he will be happy to show you what the plane can do. Hang on to your lunch !!!!!

This is a must do for tourists as it gives you a great perspective of the beuty of our natural surroundings. The pricing is varied from fairly cheap to expensive. This depends mainly on the food you want to eat while on board. The dinner cruises are nice and the food is great. Four course meals and high quality ingredients. During the summer, make advanced reservations for the evening weekend cruises.

This "b&b" on bainbridge is actually a futon and breakfast. Its a japanese style home that is actually alomst an exact replica of a traditional style house of 40 years ago. The setting is very comfortable and relaxing. The owners though are not Japanese, they are caucasan, but have had lots of experience with Japan. The breakfast is normal american fare, not really a traditional japanese breakfast which is good cuz it would be rice and pickles for breakfast otherwise. A great place to stay for a quick getaway.

Ive used this agency a few times to get tickets for Japan. They seem to always have the lowest prices and are willing to shop around for you. The staff is friendly enouph and if you have to change dates on your ticket they will do their best to accomodate with minimal change fees. These days its all about price and they have great wholesale prices and last minutes prices too that are released by the airlines a few days before departure.

They have outdoor seating and wil let you bring your bike inside if you pedaled in. Location is nice and close to green lake park. Parking though is a pain if you drive. Watch out for the meters in front as the meter maid does indeed check - I found out the hard way. One negative is the seating - limited cushy chairs.

This place is great for Katsudon, Donburi and Tonkatsu. Actually its hard to find these Japanese dishes elswhere in seattle. Shusi here is not the strong point. But the view is great. The pricing is too high in my opinion, they are trying to pass off as a hip high end restaurant - when in fact this type of food in japan is just everyday and nothing special. Their cost to produce thier menu is a fraction of the prices charged. Anyway, good taste though and they even have a couple native Japanese servers and last time I was their the Chef was actually Japanese and not Korean as you find all to common.

I used to take my work clothes here routinely when I lived closer and they always had them ready to go, starched just like I wanted when they said they would be done. Ive had a stain removed once succefully. Pricing is good and they give a volume discount to frequent customers. Their english is "funny" but they are nice to deal with, in not a little impatient, but i think thats cultural.

They even lost parts, like a wirless router - how, I dont know - then chrged me for a new one !!!! Also their pricing was way to high. Make sure you get a detailed quote and work order if you must do business with them. But there alternatives out there that I learned too late.
