But how do you know if you like it otherwise!?!? In addition to the bath products they also sell unique gift items like books on foreign travel, drinking glasses, cards, etc. The staff are great about allowing customers to explore without breathing down their necks.

In my first two years in Seattle I would often walk through Twist pining for the beautiful jewelry and unique gift items. But last year I discovered Jill Platner's line of jewelry. I came in week after week to look at the bracelets. The staff at Twist were always accommodating and helpful, offering their opinions on which piece looked best on me. I finally found "the one" and made the plunge. I've taken it off maybe 3 times in the last year.
My girlfriend fell in love with my bracelet. For her birthday I decided to get another design for her. But because her wrist is larger than mine I was concerned it wouldn't fit.
The staff at Twist told me they could do special orders. All I had to do was measure her wrist and they would get the bracelet made to order. That's what we did and it came back perfect!
Everyone at Twist is highly professional and they understand that you are making an investment in high quality pieces.
I've been back for a Chrome Hearts ring which they also ordered in my size.
Highly recommended!

I've been into the shop many times...always hoping my experience is different. There are so many beautiful pieces, truly nice things. But the women who work there are more concerned with chatting wtih each other than with making customers feel welcome. On my last visit I found a Velvet jacket I've been pining for. The 3 employees there didn't so much as say hello or ask how I was doing as I tried it on. The only time they spoke to me was when I pulled out my credit card. Had I been able to find this jacket elsewhere I would have walked out. I had to patronize establishments where the staff are rude and unhelpful.

I've been into Toys in Babeland several time, usually mid morning, alone...and it's always busy. All of the toys are out on display so that you can touch them and see what you're getting. Buying a harness? They recommend you try them on in their "dressing" room. Normally I would be so embarrassed to do so, but the staff are professional and informative. The shop is spacious and bright, not at all seedy. You feel as if you've walked into a fine boutique. Go in! Explore!

So, I've been looking to save money. I use my cell phone for all calls. Why did I need a Qwest phone line? Well, most ISP DSL services work via the phone line. Paying $35 a month for a phone line I use only for DSL, which also costs about $40 is crazy!
That's where Speakeasy comes in. They offer a DSL service that doesn't need a live phone line. For this type of service they do have to come out and make an adjustment to the phone line. My experience was great. They came out one afternoon, made a quick adjustment and it was set up!
Speakeasy even provides a CD-ROM that seamlessly sets up your email, etc.
I'm looking forward to many months of Speakeasy service and some savings from my cancelled phone line.

Any salon is only as good as its stylists. Even the best salons have a few duds. The first stylist I went to at Vain (she's no longer there) never seemed present. Now I see Sharon and the experience is so different. Sharon focuses on my hair and not what is going on around us in the salon. She a complete professional with a delightful British accent! She, and I believe most of the stylists, offer free trims in between cuts. After boucing around from salon to salon I have finally found a stylist and salon that work for me.

I have been to Zola several times for drinks, but have only dined there solo. The design of the booths keeps the space open, but you don't feel like you are on display as "The Solo Diner". On every visit the food has been exceptional and the service as well. If you're tooling around downtown, shopping alone, stop in for a quick bite and glass of wine. You won't regret it!

My friends and I were walking around Belltown on a Saturday night two weeks ago trying to find a place to eat. We stumbled upon La Vita e Bella, which I have passed by many times. We peeked in to find it completely packed. The manager however went out of his way to find us a table. Granted, it wasn't the best table, but we were hungry and cold. The manager checked on us a couple of times throughout the meal. The food was uncomplicated and delicious. I'm definitely going back.

How relieved I was to find Amy at Ummelina. She relieved my anxiety over getting my eyebrows waxed again with her soothing voice and delicate technique. I wouldn't dream of going anyplace else. They also have the best manicurist in town, but I'm not revealing her name. It's already difficult to get an appointment with her!

I signed on with Rain before they opened. That day I got my membership, Glen and Chris made me feel important as a new member. Almost two years later they continue to do so.
This gym does everything right. There is someone to greet you with a warm smile at the front desk. The equipment is top quality! Unlike some gyms, there are 3 different lines of weight equipment to choose from. The cardio pieces are also top notch and face the large bank of windows looking out over Elliott Bay.
I've been to more expensive gyms in the city but I have to say the exceptional staff, equipment, and views make Rain Fitness the best gym around.
