Mad Scrapper is a great place to go if you are into scrap booking like my wife. It seems we end up there more than a few times a year when my wife is trying to find the perfect stamp or paper to go into a new scrap book. She loves their selection of paper and scrapbooking supplies. They also have scrap book classes for young and old. And you can also have meetings with your friends there.

Chinoise has restaurants in several locations in Seattle - international district and queen anne to name a few. They specialize in terrific pan asian food, from sushi to chinese dishes. I love to get the spider rolls and general tso's chicken. They seem to be always busy during lunch, so if you want a seat for sure, then come early. I have only eaten at the international district location. yum yum!

I found don willis on the internet, when I could not find a business that had an unfinished bookcase. I called don willis up and they were able to order the exact bookcase. Plus, it was about $100 cheaper than other places that had them. They said it would be about 8 hours to get the items, but it actually only took 5 weeks. We couldn't be happier with the service and quality. Don Willis has full line of solid wood furniture. check them out.

This is one of my favorite places to go for lunch. Bonzai has been open for a couple years, and got most of its fame from having naked sushi events. But I go here for the lunch combos. The bonzai lunch combos allow you to choose from two entrees- sushi rolls, tempura, teryaki, etc and also includes miso soup, rice and salad. Come here really hungary, because I have never seen anyone I have come here with finish it all. All this food for around $8. yum, yum

I have eaten at the dahlia lounge a couple times and always come away impressed. I put the cuisine as eclectic, because they have a little bit of everything. This is a Tom Douglas restaurant and the food is awesome. The ambiance is low lighting, which kinda makes it romantic. But what my wife and I really love at the Dahlia Lounge is the desserts. We always save room for desserts, because the desserts at the Dahlia Lounge are incredible. Every time, we go we get the fresh donuts, yum, I am getting hungary just thinking of them. If you go save room for the Donuts, just like homer simpson would!

Fireworks has numerous stores in the seattle area. I visit the one in pioneer square, since it right by my work. Fireworks has eclectic arts and trinkets from artists all over the northwest. Even if you are not buying, it is fun to go and and peruse the goods and art they have on hand. Everything is bright and cheery. If you have kids, it can also be a fun place to look around, but keep a watchful eye because some stuff is breakable. It is a great place to go to get a unique gift for the person that has everything.

Garlic jims is a new pizza company out of issaquah. They use all quality ingredients and make their own sauce with real tomatoes. Every pizza we have from them was real good. Their crust is really soft on the inside and cooked perfectly. They deliver for a $1 and are pretty fast. For the best bet for savings, we use the coupons that come in the mail. I truly recommend Garlic Jims if you haven't already tried it.

The emp is quite ugly from the outside, its supposed to be a bunch of cut up guitars. I just don't see it. Built by paul allen this is his music present to the city of seattle. The museum has lots of music memorbilia, and the head sets give you a great narrative as you walk through the rock and roll items. They have an area where you can try instruments and record. They also have a good cafe and incredible stage to hear concerts. I would recommend you go at least once.

My family uses yuen lui photos for our family photos. They have various locations in the puget sound, but we usually go to the bellevue location, since it is the closest to our homes. They go a great job with family, HS senior photos, and childrens photography. We recently had our 1 month olds photos taken there, they turned out great. They occasionally have specials, so you should be on the look out for those. Their prices are high, but the photos are of good quality.

Uwajimaya is one of my favorite places to go in the international district area. They have a wide range of asian groceries - mainly focusing on Japanese groceries. I love getting different Japanese candy - my favorite are the Meiji chocolate covered gummies - yum yum!. They also have a sanrio section for the kids, various household goods, cards, and a bookstore. They also have a food court if you are hungry. I recommend the honey moon bubble tea. Their sashimi is very fresh, so no need to worry about getting sick on the fish. When you are down in the international district visit the kung fu shop and Uwajimaya.
