This place was insane! The staff seemed to really know their stuff about fish and fish accessories. They helped us find some great little friends that were prefect for our situation as far as how often they needed to be feed and how (umm) durable they were. Plus, if nothing else, this place was just alot of fun to be in, I would tell any parent to take their kids there just to check out the wide variety, it's like going to an aquarium!

I really enjoyed gong to Rudys for my hair cut they were very friendly and quick too. My cut was a pretty simple affair so I can't really say whether or not this is the place to go for something difficult but based on the other customers I would guess they have a pretty good reputation for getting your hair just how you want it (minus a stylus anyways). Since I don't always have tons of money to shell out for a styled hair cut, Rudys serves as a great "keep me looking good til next time I've got money sort of place". Oh yeah, they also played the Clash once while my cut was happening, so you know, bonus points or whatever.

Man, Remember watching "the Big Lebowski" and instantly wanting to go bowling? No? Well then go watch "the Big Lebowski" and you'll understand. Sunset Bowl is just that classic bowling alley scene, the smells, the people, the cheap (as in quality not price) beer (not including the Mac & Jacks). This place is great! Seriously, bowling lost something when every hippster started going when ever they thought it would be ironic or something but at Sunset there's none of that (well except on friday and saturday nights.... damn). Go! Bowl! Have Fun!

Bop Street has an insane amount of records (and a few used cd's which are not worth going for alone) spread out over two floors (three rooms). The Vinyl on the upper level is well organized where as the lower level is sort of organized but really better suited for those willing to dig a bit. My main complaint about this place is the fact that they don't price anything on the shelves but rather tell you how much they're willing to let it go for, sometimes this is great because you can talk them down but most of the time I just get this feeling that they know that I must want it if I'm asking, and thus they'll try and get as much as they can for it... come to think of it, this ALWAYS pisses me off. This place is good if you're a collector.

The owner was very helpful and understanding of our situation and helped us decide on a really cool t-shirt. The selection was amazing for a shop that small, but she really has some great stuff. If you're ever looking for a Clash t-shirt for your kid, go here! The prices are ok, but the quality and type of clothing she carries are worth it.

This has been the best "hidden treasure" restaurant that we've been to in a long time! I never get tired of the beans & rice chicken thigh combo! Only $5! The place is small, and there may be lines, but stick it through. Their pork sandwiches are the best in the city for the price. I'm looking forward to trying all of their menu items!

The facilities are very clean and safety is emphasized. The different temperature pools are a must to try and the steam room with ecalyptus is my favorite. The free tea and nap rooms are great too! Plan on spending a whole evening there....you wont want to leave!

They have a great selection of sandwiches and pizza to take out for lunch, and good home made pasta products. Our wedding cake was only $89 for a 2 tier cake that served 100 people! It's still the best cake I've ever had. Go! Now!

I took one of the "warm glass" classes at Pratt last year, and still can't get over what a wonderful place it is. The variety of courses offered are amazing, and the amount of one on one time with outstanding artists is top notch. Be a member, or start taking classes as soon as possible. It may seem expensive, but it's sooooo worth it. They have courses for every skill level, so don't feel like you have to be an "artist" to have fun.
