Elefante's Music store has been around in Berkeley Heights for some time and has a huge following. This family owned business repairs all musical instruments and has specialists teaching flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, guitar, piano, etc. Students at Elefante's also form different groups, such as woodwind quartet and jazz ensembles that perform around the state. This is a great place to go if you have a hankering to learn some great music!

The librarians are very helpful and they usually can find whatever you need. They also offer free Internet and have areas for groups to gather and work together! I woudln't go there however if you need somethign very specialized since the collection isn't that large.

The guys at this dealership were very friendly and helpful. They didn't pressure me, or oversell- they just described each vehicle and encouraged me to go on a test drive. They offerred me a good price for my Honda Civic, and got me my car pretty quickly (they didnt' have it at the dealership in the color I wanted to they ordered it.) They are also very good with repairing any problems. I had an issue with my headlights not turning on, and they fixed it very quickly.

I've been to kennywood a few times with my friends and always had a blast. The rides are great (especially the Phantom's Revenge). The food is standard theme park grub (fries, funnel cake, etc)....

They also have shows and stuff but I've never been to any. I recommend going on 4th of July to catch the fireworks if you can't make it to the Point.

while in high school? You might want to apply to the Carnegie Mellon Pre-College Program. Students of varying academic interests (music, art, drama, engineering) are encouraged to apply to the program. Basically, you spend your time taking two courses and hanging out with your friends. I worked as a counselor one year, and I can tell you that most of residents really really enjoyed the program. Some even decided to apply to CMU after coming!
