Head to Austin Rock Gym for a great climbing experience. My good friend is an avid rock climber and when he's not scaling mt. Bonnell (just kidding), he's at austin rock gym. I've come to this location three times, and i have bought a gift certificate for a climbing session for my girlfriend to try. They have great facilities that are indoor. and spacious. They don't just let anyone climb, they are very strict on safety and you must go through an intro course if you've never climbed before. I recommend them as a great place to start, or to continue your rock climbing experience. Their monthly passes are very affordable.
