Chaparral Ice Center is the closest access the public has to a rink in the Austin area. The establishment is always kept clean and nice looking. I have been there during normal hours and after hours for a University accounting association broom ball match. Both times I have gone I was impressed. The rental skates are the nicest I've ever used. The UT Ice hockey team also plays their season games there, I caught a few of them last year as well. Look to Chaparral Ice as a great date, or for the family!
