If you go to college in boston or go to boston offten then this bus company may be for you. It is usually cheap 15 dollars and gets you to or from new york in 4-5 hrs flat depending on traffic. At times, it is a little sketch but the service is extremely reliable. Although during peak hours everything gets crazy. You are better off waking really early in the moring and taking the 7 am bus. Trust me on that.

When i went to robert f wagner, the education i recieved was absolutely phenomenal one that rivaled many top private schools. The teachers prepared us in the finest way possible. Unfortunately, i went to wagner for only two years. Those years carried me through high school and college. However, that wagner is largely gone. Many of the damn good teachers have left. It still offers a decent public school education just get into the sp or specialized classes and you will be fine.

Brooklyn technical is one of the 3 magnet schools of the city for science and mathematics. It requires a rigorous entrance exam to get into. In many ways it is like the american dream. One could get in to brooklyn technical throug hard work, regardless of background race, or culture, or through pure luck. There are many obvious strafications in the school, cultural, economical, religious, and educational. This is reflective of the large and diverse student body, only of the most if not the most diverse of the entire nation. One could hear five or six languages in a two minute walk through class. As such, it is an american high school but it is not without it's faults. The school offers many educational oppurtunities and internships. However, because of it's size, a student can very likely become a number. This school is not for everyone. It is a great school, there are many many great teachers. and many many bad ones. The good ones are generally teaaching honors, ap, or advance placement. The bad ones generally the regular classes. As such, do whatever you can to get into the honors program for each classes. You will get a decent education. But those who can afford to go to an excellant private school do so. The college connection of this school is horrendous and with so many students in one class competing for so few places against each other you are better off at a private school. There are a lot to be said about this school but do speak to alumini's about it.

PS 130 is located in the heart of chinatown and little italy. As such, the students there are predominately chinese. located within the district 2 area the school has recieved a large amount of funding and budget from the state. It is by no means a poor school. The school is very well runned and filled with dedicated teachers and staff. The last time i check, the college rate for this school is extremely high. Math and reading scores are decent too.

The gym is an excellant place to learn boxing. The instructors there are always willing to help to teach you the basic skills and trade. An assortment of people go there, women and men frequent the place of all backgrounds and cultures. The payment plans are affordable and the hours are very convient. I recommend an unlimited plan for personal attention and for a decent workout.

Congee is a chinese dish comprised of rice, water and whatever else you can afford for the mix. It is very filling and staple of the chinese diet. A restaurant of congee? I was very skeptical at first to think anyone could pull it off. At first it seemed like a one trick pony to me. However, i was won over on several of the congee dishes garnished with different types of meats and vegetables. Be warned, Congee is a very very chinese taste. It may not suit those who are more comfortable with the mc-varitey chinese restaurants with their pork fried rice.

Which is quite find by me living on a college student budget. Whether it is pan fried, boiled, or baked dumpling has been a staple of the chinese for generations. They are cheap, easy to make and very satisfying. Its no wonder why this place is a place that i go every so often.
