I didn't try their rental finding service, but it sounded like it would be helpful for those not looking to buy.

They carry all of the traditional entrees that you would expect, plus more exotic items like coconut encrusted French toast. It has a great retro-dinner feel, with wacky 70s color, and even vintage television!

I recently switched cleaning services, and have been impressed by Sparkle Queen. At first I was hesitant to use them because they advertise "trained English speaking staff," but I found there service to be great. I have yet to have any complaints, and have always found them to meet appointment times and do a meticulous job.

You're likely to find items that you can't find in other youth-oriented furniture stores (e.g. cb2), but some of it is wacky. Sometimes plastic seems to be overly used, making some what uncomfortable looking furniture. For the high design, you pay a high price -- expect to prices to beyond your average Crate & Barrel.

During the summer on weekends, Sandcastle becomes a giant bar for 21 year olds and up. Depending on the weather, many will frequent the pool and saunas, with very questionable clothing, making it a great place to have some drinks and people watch. The last couple weeks of the summer they have great specials, including 50 cent drink hours, and all-night reduced prices. They don't use top-shelf liquor, but what do you expect in Pittsburgh?

The boat is large enough that you will not become naesueated, but it can seem a bit confining. If you're not having fun, there is no way to leave the ship until it docks. Depending on the length of the trip, this can be a large problem if you have other plans for the night. Drinks and food are average, don't expect anything spectacular (but do expect a high surcharge).

The Manor Theatre is an excellent alternative to the huge movie theatres, like that found at the Waterfront. Although the theatre does not have the advanced technology of other movie theatres, Manor has a welcoming, nostolgic feel of movie theatres in the 1980s. Highly trafficked by locals and college students, the theatre usually offers independent movies that you can't find at the chains -- and maintains a reasonable price.
